The Lexus IS F is the high-performance variant of the “XE20” generation of the IS, produced from 2008 to 2014. It stood out from the standard IS with a distinct appearance package and rear bucket seats plus several mechanical upgrades. It introduced the “2UR-GSE” DOHC, 4-valve-per-cylinder V8 engine with Yamaha-designed high-flow cylinder heads, which would go on to see duty in the GS F, RC F, and LC 500.
Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8 engine, rated at 416 horsepower and 371 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Due to the modifications this ISF may make more power than stock, however a dynamometer reading is not provided. Output is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip rear differential.
