Vehicle history: Presented at the Frankfurt IAA in 1961, the BMW 3200 CS is the successor to the BMW 503 and comes from the pen of the Turin coachbuilder Bertone. Inconspicuous at the time, the Bertone Coupés are now among the rare and sought-after German 8-cylinder coupés of the 60s. With chassis number 76.176, a facelift was carried out: changes from the sheet metal dashboard to a wooden version, standard leather seats, a fan with viscous clutch and the transmission flanged directly to the engine are the main changes.
