This restoration is not recent and has been done sometime around 2005 and comes with receipts of many upgraded parts including suspension upgrades. This quality build not only looks good but drives great with a Chevrolet 350 V8 that is connected to a Turbo Hydro 350 automatic rebuilt transmission. It also features triple Roschester carburetors, headers, camel hump heads, Mallory electronic distributor, custom brass radiator, and an MSD coil under the hood. The interior is in excellent condition and comes in two tone gray velour throughout, including the rear seat cover, and headliner. The Black dash features a custom gauge cluster done very nicely out of billet aluminum filled with VDO gauges, and also features its original steering wheel and a Sun tachometer. Other interior features include a kill switch, and custom pull start ignition. The custom two-tone Sun burnt Orange and Black exterior paint with flames up front is loud and aggressive and suites the hotrod style-build. Other exterior features include original style running boards, dual exhaust, and iconic a split rear window. This 40 sits on polished American Racing 5 spoke wheels that are wrapped in 235/70/15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires in the rear and 195/60/15 upfront and are stopped by disc brakes upfront and drum in the rear.
